Samsung Galaxy M12 is the successor of last year’s Galaxy M11 and has been launched in Nepal. It is a bit similar to the recently launched Galaxy A12 in many aspect. Samsung Galaxy M12 stands out in terms of some of the specs that aren’t available in the smartphone of this price range. The phone includes a 90Hz display, a 6000mAh battery, and an energy-efficient Exynos 850 SoC.

Now, let's dive into its specifications and its official price in Nepal.

1. Display and Design (Infinity-V HD+ along with metallic design)

The Galaxy M12 comes with 6.5 –inch HD+ PLS TFT infinity-V display with 720 x 1600p of resolution. You can enjoy your content with its HD+ technology that offers sharp and clear content.

It comes with quite an impressive and modern design but the bottom chin is very noticeable. The bezels are thin and the rear panel offers a metallic touch that makes the device look very alluring. There is a square-shaped camera module at the top-left corner of the rear part with a single LED flash fitted just beneath it.

The camera module and array are pretty similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G and a company logo at the middle bottom. Likewise, volume rockers, dedicated power button (which is also a fingerprint scanner) is placed at the right edge of the smartphone.

The Phone is powered by an Exynos 850 chipset which does all the work and the integration of Mali-G52 handles all the graphics load.

3. Quad-camera module

Galaxy M12 boasts a Quad Rear Camera setup at the back. It includes 48MP (f/2.0) primary sensor, 5MP(f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor, 2MP (f/2.4) macro sensor and 2MP (2.4) depth sensor along with single LED flashlight.

The phone gets its juice from its titan-sized 6,000mAh battery with 15W Adaptive Fast Charging. It is the major highlight as it is not so possible in the smartphone in this price tag.

Talking about its connectivity, the phone boasts 4G connectivity. Nowadays 5G is pretty common in mid-range phones like Samsung Galaxy A32 but 4G is all we can hope for in this price range.
