Turn on your AirPods and pop them in your ears.

Turn on your MacBook. Go to the menu bar at the top right of the screen which shows a list of all the active connections as well as settings for Mac. You can see Bluetooth setting that is signified by a small Bluetooth symbol. Click it or click on the volume icon.
